What’s SoLo’s verification process?

Members have a 3 part verification process. First, all members meet AML/KYC obligations consistent with opening a bank account. This includes providing basic information, SSN,  personal identifying information, and driver's license for identity verification in compliance with U.S. law. Second, all borrowing members connect their external bank accounts via our open banking provider Plaid. Third, all members add a debit card in their name. All 3 methods involve a separate verification process which is then cross-referenced amongst each other. Please ensure that you are connecting the same account across bank connection and debit card to ensure continued usage. If all methods of verification are not accurate, this could affect your ability to use the platform.
